Riverside Organic farm is open to schools, clubs and colleges by appointment. We have been hosting farm visits since 2005. We offer a wide range of educational opportunities. We take great pleasure in sharing our passion for organic farming, plants, animals and nature with children and adults alike and welcome any party that wish to visit us. By reconnecting people with where their food comes from and how it is produced, maybe we can build a sustainable future for ethical food production. A typical visit includes: An indoor safety briefing and introduction. A guided farm walk involving a pre arranged activity. Questions and answers are encouraged strongly at this point. A break where children can explore the pets and farm animals (Lambs, calves, Chickens, rabbits, owl, etc) at close quarters. Conclusion session of Q+As designed to ensure that the objectives of the individual visit have been achieved. Learning Opportunities
